Wildlife Education - Techniques for the Safe Removal of Raccoons from Attics in Dallas, TX

Dallas Raccoon Control & Removal

I recommend Matthew Evans of A Wildlife Pro for raccoon removal and wildlife removal in the Dallas area. I have spoken with the owner of A Wildlife Pro, and he fully understands Texas raccoons and their behavior, and the proper methods for humane removal. For me to recommend him, he has agreed to abide by rules of humane wildlife removal, all Dallas County and Texas wildlife laws, and have a thorough understanding of wildlife biology and the concerns associated with critter removal, such as the welfare of the animals, the presence of baby raccoons in the attic, and the need to perform complete wildlife removal services with permanent results, utilizing techniques such as home inspections, preventative repairs, and animal waste cleanup.

A Wildlife Pro has this to say about their wildlife and raccoon removal company: A Wildlife Pro is an owner-operated business committed to the highest level of customer service - we provide same-day or next-day service, show up on time, and treat customers the way we'd want to be treated. Our goal is to solve your specific wildlife problem permanently - where other companies carelessly lay some traps on the ground and catch (and charge for) anything, we target the specific nuisance animals, perform high quality animal damage repairs, clean animal waste, and more. We specialize in dealing with animals inside attics and buildings, but excel at all aspects of nuisance wildlife control, from a snake in the pool to bats in the attic. Give me, Matt, a call, and I will be happy to discuss your wildlife problem with you.

Example Raccoon Control Email from Dallas, TX:

Hi David, I saw your site and would like to ask you a question. I will not take up much of your time since I live in Texas and not Florida. I think I have a dead raccoon in my ac system like you found on one of your jobs. I have not located it but the REALLY strong smell is coming from the air handler in the attic and through the registers when the unit first comes on and air blows. I looked all through the attic, but found no body so it must be from the unit. I know there is a raccoon or two up there since I have seen them. I called a couple of pest control services and they have come out only to tell me all thier traps are being used and I would be on a wait. Well, now I think they got into something bc I do not hear them at night anymore and the strong smell is all through the house and attic. Any ideas on located them like you did with the one you found. Thank you so much for your help! Todd

We have a HUGE racoon that comes onto our pool deck around 3am. I doubt he lives in our attic as we never here any scratching or scampering. If I purchase a raccoon trap and raccoon lure, and leave the trap out on the deck after going to bed at nite, is there still the expensive charge for you guys to come pick him up in the morning if I tell you 24hrs beforehand when to pick it up? If it didn't work of course I'd let you know beforehand as well.
