I have raccoons in my Myrtle Beach home. They haven't gotten their way into the attic. They are basically climb up the chimney and get into the lower soffit area right where the angled piece of the chimney meets the soffit. I was thinking about taking a rake (to keep my distance) and pull a bit on the Plastic Channel that holds the soffit up to have the soffit fall. I guess the mother will be in there all day. What are the odds that when she falls out of the soffit that she will run away and not toward a dopey guy holding a rake?
