Scranton Raccoon Removal

Call us any time for raccoon removal and wildlife removal in the Scranton area. I have spoken with the field technician in Scranton and he fully understands Pennsylvania raccoons and their behavior, and the proper methods for humane removal. For me to recommend him, he has agreed to abide by rules of humane wildlife removal, all Lackawanna County and Pennsylvania wildlife laws, and have a thorough understanding of wildlife biology and the concerns associated with critter removal, such as the welfare of the animals, the presence of baby raccoons in the attic, and the need to perform complete wildlife removal services with permanent results, utilizing techniques such as home inspections, preventative repairs, and animal waste cleanup.

Scranton Pennsylvania Raccoon Control Situation: Hi, David: I live in Lackawana County, PA, just north of Scranton I have uninvited guests living in the crawl space between the 2 stories of my home. . . Difficult situation because they can stand up, run around and maneuver, but we can't! Their location is visible through the access door in the ceiling of the garage, but as I said, the crawl space is, at best, 2 feet high. I believe it is mom and at least 2 babies (from the noise they make they are close to full grown!) so, as you state in the article I read on the internet, it is not going to be an easy task to get them out. I have no small children, but I do have a cat that goes out in the yard, and I am somewhat concerned about transmission of the raccoon roundworm, especially since I am certain they have created a latrine in the crawlspace that will have to be cleaned up, too. I just hope they are not infected . . . no way to know unless or until they are caught. I am not sure of your location, but wonder if you have any contacts in the Scranton area that I could call for advice and/or proposal for removal. Also, what would be a ballpark figure as to what a professional might charge? I do not plan to attempt any trapping on my own! Any help or advice you could share with me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you. Karen

Strange situation since the Raccoon keeps coming back... We have had a Raccoon that has entered our home through the doggie door twice. The first time he got in and headed for the bathroom and the dogs chased him back out the doggie door. Well last night he got in through the doggie door again (mind you we have been closing it off each night, however forgot last night). This time he tried to hide under the bed and the dogs went absolutely crazy. He ran across the bed broke a lamp and glass items on my bookshelves, tore up my blinds and then the dogs chased him back out the doggie door! Any ideas on how to keep this critter out? Or we will just have to be mindful and close that doggie door at night...I have to leave it open during the day while I'm at work. Not sure if Raccoons would enter during the day??? Appreciate any advice you can give. Thank you
