Paterson Raccoon Control & Removal
| I recommend TriState Wildlife for raccoon removal and wildlife removal in the Paterson area. I have spoken with the
owner of TriState Wildlife, and he fully understands New Jersey raccoons and their behavior, and the proper methods for humane removal. For me to recommend him, he has agreed to abide by
rules of humane wildlife removal, all Passaic County and New Jersey wildlife laws, and have a thorough understanding of wildlife biology and the concerns associated with critter removal, such as the welfare
of the animals, the presence of baby raccoons in
the attic, and the need to perform complete wildlife removal services with permanent results, utilizing techniques such as home inspections,
preventative repairs, and animal waste cleanup. | |

Example Raccoon Control Email from Paterson, NJ:
I'm fairly new in Paterson NJ from Maryland (2004) and both perplexed and freaked by New Jersey's critters! Your site is excellent; very interesting and informative - probably the best I've found, but I still have some questions that no one else has been able to answer for me, if you'd be so kind: (1) Something is eating the bait on snap-type mouse/rat traps in the attic, leaving behind poop that looks like very small black ink "spills" on the traps, but they're not setting off the traps! Found one dead (electrocuted?) juvenile roof rate in attic in late summer - exterminator removed, sealed likely entries & set rat traps baited with "Slim Jims." No catches - traded poop for food! Recently after spotting new droppings, I tried mousetraps baited with peanut butter which again disappeared without snapping trap. What might I have in the attic that eats without setting off traps? (2) I've found several approx. 2-3" round holes in yard at what looks to be 45-degree angles. No loose dirt. Had a snake in pool before & have seen two at various times in flower beds. Should I do anything? (3) Most of yard is mushy soft (not wet) underfoot. Raised tunnels visible under dirt ground beneath covered storage area, but not apparent in grassy areas. Moles? Voles? Gophers? Best remedy? (4) Throughout yard, I find very small, very dark piles about 1-2" wide of what resembles caviar. Might be 6-8 piles in a one-foot square area. This is something I also saw in Maryland, but what creature does this & should I be doing something about it? I have a 5-year-old Shih-Tzu dog with severe allergies (eyes/ears) since moving here. Probably no wonder that he instinctively avoids the grass in my yard. He obviously knows something I don't! I understand you work only in Orlando area, but I would very much appreciate any advice you could offer based on what I've told you here. Thank you SO much.

Please be kind to raccoons! They are intelligent animals, and believe it or not, they definitely have emotions! |
