Wildlife Education - Techniques for the Safe Removal of Raccoons from Attics in Lowell, MA

Lowell Raccoon Control & Removal

I recommend Matt Grady of BatGuys Wildlife Services for raccoon removal and wildlife removal in the Lowell area. I have spoken with the owner of BatGuys Wildlife Services, and he fully understands Massachusetts raccoons and their behavior, and the proper methods for humane removal. For me to recommend him, he has agreed to abide by rules of humane wildlife removal, all Middlesex County and Massachusetts wildlife laws, and have a thorough understanding of wildlife biology and the concerns associated with critter removal, such as the welfare of the animals, the presence of baby raccoons in the attic, and the need to perform complete wildlife removal services with permanent results, utilizing techniques such as home inspections, preventative repairs, and animal waste cleanup.

Example Raccoon Control Email from Lowell, MA:

Thanks David for responding to my email and for your help. I have used Bac-Azap for odor elimination but the label doesnt say anything about it being a decontaminating agent. Thats what threw me off. Do you feel that Bac-Azap or Bio Shield will actually remove the pheromones that will attract new raccoons? I know it will remove any animal odors left behind. Fogging an attic with Bac-Azap or BioShield must be an add-on to your regular trapping and removal of the animal and if you dont mind how much do you charge for this service? Your question about Total Rodent Elimination is very simply baiting the home or building and also installing traps such as Glue Boards, Ketch-Alls and/or snap traps. Currently, our most effective rodent bait is Generation Blox. An add-on service we sometimes perform is rodent proofing where we install door sweeps, garage door seals and close holes throughout the home. This could well run a few hundred dollars and so most people will not get it done and most of the time it is really not needed. In hard to control areas where there is a high pressure of rodents or where long term rodent control is desired we install tamper-proof bait stations around the outside of the home. This way rodents will be controlled outside before the homeowner even sees a rodent inside their home. Over the past few years I have used this procedure at my home because every winter we would get mice in the garage. Since the installation of the bait stations we have not had a mouse in the garage at all. Thanks again for all help. Walter
