Austin Raccoon Removal

Call us any time for raccoon removal and wildlife removal in the Austin area. I have spoken with the field technician in Austin and he fully understands Texas raccoons and their behavior, and the proper methods for humane removal. For me to recommend him, he has agreed to abide by rules of humane wildlife removal, all Travis County and Texas wildlife laws, and have a thorough understanding of wildlife biology and the concerns associated with critter removal, such as the welfare of the animals, the presence of baby raccoons in the attic, and the need to perform complete wildlife removal services with permanent results, utilizing techniques such as home inspections, preventative repairs, and animal waste cleanup.

Austin Texas Raccoon Control Situation: Raccoons, like all animals, have a scent, but I wouldn't classify it as a pheromone. If I do spray an attic, it's usually around $100 - $200 depending upon size. There are no standards. Some companies charge more. Most pros in this field, if they are going to spray attics, use BioShield in an atomizer, which is what I do. I'm not a chemist, and neither is anyone who does this work that I know of, so no one can really speak authoritatively about the effectiveness of this or any other deodorizing/decontaminating product. The mentality behind what I do (nuisance wildlife control) and what you do (pest control) is very different. I do attic spraying only in very rare cases of filthy, smelly attics, and not to keep animals away, but to get rid of smell. Some companies try to sell sprays as if they are great deterrents. It's careless to think that a spray will take care of the problem. The only way to keep animals out is to seal all entry points into the home 100%. Our rat philosophy differs quite a bit. What you call rodent-proofing "add on" is in fact the the primary thing I sell. I include all proofing as part of the job, it's the only way to keep all the rats out forever. Sure, I put 20 or so snap traps on the heavily used runways to catch all the rats stuck inside, but my goal is to permanently solve the problem in a week or less with no dead rats stuck dying inside the structure. I only employ rat population reduction in the rare cases when a building is unsealable (usually due to a lot of rotting wood). However, we all do things our own way, and if we have found our own ways of solving problems, that's fine. I find it interesting that so many companies combine lawn care and pest control. The pest control companies seem to like the stability of monthly/quarterly contracts. The wild animal guys seem to like the fun of trapping animals. I think there's more money in the pest control.
