Call us any time for raccoon removal and wildlife removal in the Melbourne area. For me to recommend him, he has agreed to abide by rules of humane wildlife removal, all Brevard County and Florida wildlife laws, and have a thorough understanding of wildlife biology and the concerns associated with critter removal, such as the welfare of the animals, the presence of baby raccoons in the attic, and the need to perform complete wildlife removal services with permanent results, utilizing techniques such as home inspections, preventative repairs, and animal waste cleanup.

Melbourne Florida Raccoon Control Situation: David, my name is Richard and I'm the Facilities Manager for Planned Parenthood in Melbourne FL. I have a raccoon problem. I have an entire family living in my attic. I was able to capture and release the male (brought him to Lake Ronkonkoma) but I'm having trouble catching the female and her kits. Can you give me some insight and/or prices. Thanks, Richard

My response: The first insight is that you probably caught some stray raccoon not related to the family - raccoons mate and then separate. They don't form mother/father family units.

Hi, I read through your very informative site today. We live in Melbourne near a park. I believe the raccoon lives in the park and is using our flat roof near the chimney as a nice warm protected latrine. Using plastic bags and cardboard I've carefully cleaned up twice, but now I read about airborne spores and respirators and I'm worried that I might have been exposed or tracked spores into our home. How do I go about cleaning up until we solve the problem? Should we just try to motivate the raccoon to move to a new bathroom by using repellent and chicken wire to block off the area or do we need to capture and relocate to solve the problem? Thanks, Doug

Hello David, I came across your website and was wondering if you can help. I live in Melbourn FL and I think trapping raccoons is illegal. I have had a mother and baby raccoons in my attic for months. They are so loud at night causing me to have sleepless nights, which with my chronic pain etc is not good. I know how they got in I found a hole and know they are in the walls. I have searched forever to get help and finally found a man. He set out traps an after a month has given up. I have called animal control and the said they can't help, same with the SPCA. Nobody will help they just say it's illegal to interfere with them and you'll have to deal. How can this be right when it's destroying my home and what I believe to be behind my dogs sudden multiple fleas occurrence and my numerous colds etc. However now they have broken a hole through the ceiling into a second floor room and the ceiling looks like it is about to break in one section. Can you suggest anything? I am desperate and have spent ALOT of money only to now have more problems. Thank you. Cheers, Krista
